cooking up some beef stroganoff! Ingredients: 2 lb. stew beef, 1 bag of egg noodles, 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, 2 tbsp garlic, Italian seasoning, 1 cup celery, and 1 cup of sour cream.

    Dave has heard it before.. he should be on food network. But…. who else is with me? I’m sick of the people on food network. The closest they have to southern food is Paula Deen and that just isn’t good enough for me. The people on food network lack character and personality. Until food network hires Dave full time with his own show, I’m refusing to watch food network.

    @Jefoe its just personal preference. My grandma makes good strogganoff and she adds mushrooms… Dave eats what tastes good to him

    Geez Dave, you missed a golden opportunity to use your dutch oven. My recipe is a bit different, but cooking it in the dutch oven so I can simmer in the oven makes it impossible to stick to the bottom and traps a lot more moisture. With the extra moisture I cook the noodles in the stroganoff itself.

    I wouldn’t sauté with worstershire sauce, it burns as you see here. Put it in later with the sauce.
